Boy, 7, dies after falling from wall at pub in east London

A seven-year-old boy has died after falling from the wall of a pub in east London.

Police and paramedics rushed to Station Road, in HaroldWood, Romford , just after 5.20pm on Tuesday to find the child seriously injured.

He was taken to an east London hospital where he was pronounced dead at 6.30pm.

The boy is believed to have fallen at the King Harold Pub.

His death is currently being treated as unexplained, Scotland Yard said.

A spokesman added: “His next of kin have been informed.

“A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.

“The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.”
