Girls, nine and six, ‘grabbed by masked unknown suspect’ in east London while playing out

Two schoolgirls, aged nine and six, have been “grabbed by a masked unknown suspect” while they were playing outside together in east London , police said.

Both girls were playing outside together at about 7pm on Saturday night before they were allegedly approached by an unknown suspect.

Police said after they were led away, they began to scream for help and the suspect ran from the scene.

Detectives from Hackney are investigating the incident and said there have been no arrests.

The suspect is described as wearing all dark-coloured clothing and a light coloured mask.

Police have asked anyone with any information that may help the investigation to call Hackney CID on 0208 217 37 39 or on on 101 quoting CAD7307/07SEP.
