Ukraine is preparing for presidential elections

Ukraine is preparing for the election of the President of the country. The electorate has decided in advance with his favorites and the alignment of forces is as follows.

The leader of the rating is former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. In second place is Vladimir Zelensky, a man who was not previously associated with politics and who for the first time intends to experience strength in a new role. The three leaders are Anatoliy Hrytsenko, the former defense minister of the three governments, including former Viktor Yanukovych, who is now runaway.

Anatoly Hrytsenko is not the first time running for President of Ukraine. Unsuccessful attempts were in 2010 and 2014. But only now Hrytsenko has approached his goal as much as possible, although he still has the status of the "First impassable".

In many respects, it was supported by Europe. But in the light of recent events, it seems that there is no more talk about support.

T he Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation put forward charges in absentia to Anatoly Hrytsenko for his statements made four years ago. On a strange coincidence of circumstances, immediately drew attention in Ukraine, calling it a multi-step Kremlin in order to wind up the rating Hrytsenko.

The famous Ukrainian political scientist Oleg Posternak said literally the following:

"I found an interesting detail. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a case against the candidate for President of Ukraine Anatoly Hrytsenko four years later, after his calls for acts of terrorism. To be precise, they found that calls for terrorist attacks were not only in 2017, but also in 2014, thus obtaining a new information guide on the topic.

And then the question arises: whether the IC of the RF is so inefficient that it spent all four years of work of the state machine on an absolutely harmless ex-defense minister retired, who, incidentally, was afraid to go to the front. Either the Russian Federation just now needed to portray Hrytsenko as the "victim" of the aggressor to raise his rating before the presidential elections.

Such tricks are very popular in Russia and every time they think that no one sees it. You can recall the election of the US President. What only did not do in the Russian Federation, in order to dissociate themselves from the label "friends of Trump." And what we have now, the presidents of the Russian Federation and the US quietly "embrace" in public and declare support to each other. Something tells me that in the case of Hrytsenko we are expected something similar.

Apparently, today the logic in the Kremlin is the following: if you want to promote your candidate for the presidency, declare him a personal enemy of Putin, initiate an absolutely "dead" case against him and wait for the inauguration.

But you have to play thinner, gentlemen. After such a lunge, Hrytsenko can be considered a pro-Western candidate only individuals who have been renounced from reality.

Such circumstances significantly undermine the faith in Hrytsenko from Europe.
