Time of the day when supermarkets reduce prices for goods

It is no secret that supermarkets regularly reduce prices for certain products at certain times of the day. Nevertheless, many consumers miss the opportunity to save some money, because they do not know when the store makes discounts.

Savings and economy guru Martin Lewis made a guide that will tell you when it is best to make purchases. Of course, this is only approximate information based on observations.

Asda starts to reduce prices about 19:00. Most often, the goods are taken before 21:00, so you need to make purchases promptly.

Representatives of this network claim that they do not adhere to any rules regarding discounts. But regular customers noticed that at 8:00 there are already goods with discounts, and the biggest drop in prices occurs in the evening.

Every store in the network sets discounts at its own discretion. Some retail outlets start to lower the price at 13:30, others - after 19:00. In addition, pay attention to the yellow price tags at lunch time.

Usually the goods with a discount appear in this network one hour before closing. Some buyers say that most often it happens at 18:30 in stores that close at 19:00, and at 20:00 in stores that close at 21:00. Also it was noticed that some goods start to become cheaper after lunch.

According to Martin, Morrisons usually show the goods at a discount late in the morning, before lunch.

This is one of the few supermarkets that do not reduce prices during the day. Perhaps, because the prices in the store are already quite low. Instead, Aldi regularly offers cut price products.

Discounts of 50% usually appear at 17:00, and 75% - after 20:00.
