Plane infested with bedbugs at Heathrow

British Airways was forced to ground one of its planes at Heathrow Airport when the cabin became infested with bedbugs.

Cabin crew staff raised the issue before the aircraft left for Ghana.

BA found a replacement plane and said it took the plane in question out of service as soon as the issue was raised -writes

The comfort of our customers is paramount, so as soon as this very rare issue was identified at Heathrow, we immediately took the aircraft out of service for treatment.​"
