It’s your last chance to support our bid for London Borough of Culture 2019

We’ve already spoken to lots of you about what makes Camden’s culture so special and you’ve been sharing your favourite places from across the borough, but we still need your support - writes

Camden has some of the most iconic cultural venues in London, a long history of innovation, and our connection to the rest of Europe via Eurostar means that people come from all over to visit our borough. So, whybidto be the London Borough of Culture?

Culture in Camden is so much more than simply attending the latest gallery or exhibition – it’s woven into the fabric of our borough, implicit in Camden’s people, on its streets and in its heritage. Culture means so many different things to different people yet has the ability to bring communities together.

We want to create a year of culture that’s not only known for producing a fantastic programme of events for people to enjoy but something that brings wider benefits for Camden residents and beyond.
