On the afternoon on July 1, thousands of people gathered in central London to express their dissatisfaction with the economic reforms of the current government. The demonstrators began to gather near the central studio of the BBC channel, from where they went to Parliament Square.
Opposition leader Jeremy Corbin, who should make an official appeal later, also was seen among the protesters. According to the organizers of the action, they wanted everyone who cares about the fate of the country to protest: activists, representatives of trade unions, members of political parties and everyone who considers the protest necessary, they were all called upon to show the unity of the residents of London.
"We are protesting against laws aimed at privatization, tightening belts and poverty. We want decent health care and education, affordable real estate, as well as jobs and acceptable living conditions for everyone", - said the organizers of the protest.
