If you like plants and are crazy about pink color, then you immediately need to visit Isabella Plantation, because the period of blooming plants has just begun. You probably know that there is a lot of grass and many beautiful lawns in Richmond Park, but as soon as you go deep inside the park, you step into a real fairy-tale and fantastic forest.
May is the best month for visiting incredibly blooming rhododendrons and azaleas. The Isabella Plantation is 40-acre forest garden with an old Victorian plantation that was founded in the 1830s. It was opened for public visit in 1953 for the first time. The plantation is known for its evergreen azaleas that embellish ponds and streams during blossoming.
