Egg presents, the club's in-house party, kicks off the first Saturday of the month with a live set from young Dutch techno star Reinier Zonn
eveld. Having just returned from a summer rocking festivals and clubs including Awakenings and Privilege Ibiza, Reinier Zonneveld is the hot new name on everyone's lips. With a nomination for DJ Awards' Best Breakthrough artist of 2017, at 12 years old Reiner was already a musical prodigy, playing improvised classical piano concerts to thousands of people. Turned on to techno while studying at university, he switched his virtuoso skills to crafting techno bombs stretching from the melodic to the stripped down. His own Filth On Acid label has unleashed collaborations with the likes of Gabriel Ananda, Secret Cinema and, most recently, Coyu, putting him on a firm course to become one of the best-known talents of his generation. With almost two decades of releases under his belt, Cologne-based Gabriel Ananda has wracked up around 300 of productions on labels including Trapez, 100% Pure and Suara. Defining hits such as the minimalistic 'Doppelwhipper' and the melancholic 'Ihre persönliche Glücksmelodie' helped raise him to headline status and paved the way for his current sound, encapsulated in his monthly Soulful Techno show, which recently reached its fiftieth edition. His Soulful Techno Records meanwhile is up to its thirteenth release, with Arjuna Schiks' summary 'Zijn' amongst the weapons in his arsenal. Polish DJ Truant originally hails from Warsaw, though spent many of his formative years living in London. Now a resident at both Nowa Jerozolima in Luzztro and a SMOLNA in Warsaw, he's earned his stripes alongside an enviable list of headline acts from Chris Liebing and Blawan to Loco Dice and Brodinski. They're joined by Egg resident Kyle E, whose 'Wild East' EP recently dropped on Egg's own What Came First label.
